Dolmabahçe Palace, situated on the Bosphorus Strait, is one of Istanbul's most impressive European-style palaces. Constructed by the Balyan family between 1843-1856, it boasts 285 rooms, making it one of Turkey's largest palaces.

Initially home to the Ottoman royal family until the empire's collapse, it later housed Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, until his death in 1938. Since then, Dolmabahçe Palace has operated as a museum, welcoming thousands of visitors annually on guided tours.

Entrance to the palace can only be done with our guide.
Dolmabahce Palace Tour performs in English.
There is a security control at the entrance. We recommend being there 10-15 minutes before the meeting time to avoid any problems.
Due to Palace rules, live guidance is not allowed when the group is between 6-15 people to avoid noise. An audio guide will be provided for the participants in such cases.
You will be asked for an ID card or passport to get a free audio guide. Please make sure to have one of them with you.

By car: Head northwest on Barbaros Boulevard toward Beşiktaş and continue until you reach Dolmabahce Palace, located on the European Side, Vişnezade, Beşiktaş.

By public transportation: You can take the T1 Tram Line from Sultanahmet to Kabataş Station. From the Kabataş Tram Station, you can walk to Dolmabahce Palace, which is located nearby.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Dolmabahce Palace from anywhere in Istanbul. It's a famous destination and most drivers will be familiar with the location.
