As part of his tour, the master drummer and renowned drum phenomenon Dave Weckl is coming to Turkiye along with Tom Kennedy. This one-of-a-kind night known as The Dave Weckl & Tom Kennedy Project, will come to Blind Istanbul on Tuesday, October 22. The event which is presented by Epifoni and supported by %100 Müzik, will also feature the saxophonist Eric Marienthal and keyboardist Stu Mindeman.

Acclaimed as one of the best drummers across the globe for more than 35 years, Dave Weckl has rightfully earned and maintained his unbeatable reputation in the international music industry. He is not only known for his talent but also for his contributions to music education, iconic music and drummer equipment. Weckl was named as one of the “Top 25 Drummers of All Time,” by the Modern Drummer Magazine, adding him to the Hall of Fame in 2000.

One of the world’s best acoustic and electric bassists, Tom Kennedy is renowned for his studio work and successful tours. He is known for his live performances as well as recordings with legendary musicians and popular contemporary artists. Beginning his journey at the age of 9, Kennedy’s talent is rooted in acoustic bass. Soon this lead him to be recognized and perform alongside renowned musicians such as Freddie Hubbard, James Moody, Nat Adderly, Sonny Stitt, and Stan Kenton.

As a part of this new project, Dave Weckl is joining forces with the electric bass legend Tom Kennedy along with saxophonist Eric Marienthal and keyboardist Stu Mindeman.

There is an age restriction of 18. Entry is prohibited for those under 18. The organizer may request ID to verify age.

The organizer will record audio and video throughout the concert. By purchasing a ticket and being present at the concert, you consent to being recorded.
Ticket holders accept all security measures, including searches of bags and clothing, as determined by the organizer and security team. Those who refuse to comply will have their entry rights revoked, and ticket refunds will not be provided.
The concert organization holds the right to use photos and videos taken during the event for promotional materials. By attending, you consent to this use.
The sound systems at the concert may cause temporary hearing issues.
The lighting systems at the concert may cause temporary eye discomfort.

Pets are not allowed in the concert area.

Concert tickets should only be purchased from official sales points designated by the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to remove individuals with tickets not purchased from official sales points from the concert area.
Concert tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Lost tickets will not be reissued.

By metro: You can take the M2 metro line and get off at Şişhane metro station. After a short walk, you will reach the venue.

By car: You can use navigation apps to get clear directions to reach the venue in the fastest way possible if you prefer to travel via a personal vehicle.

By taxi: You can take a taxi to reach the venue with ease if you don't prefer using a personal vehicle as they are widely available in the city.
